What file formats and print sizes should I use for a call QR code?
Export as PNG, JPG, vector SVG, or print-ready PDF. Use SVG or PDF for a van decal, yard sign, or shop standee so the code stays sharp at any size, and keep it at least 2-3 cm wide on print with clear white space around it so a camera locks on from a normal reading distance.
Can I add my brand colors or a logo to the call QR code?
Yes. The QR Design step lets you set foreground and background colors and drop a logo in the middle before you download. Keep a strong dark-on-light contrast and test the finished code on a real phone, since a low-contrast code that scans on a bright screen can fail on a printed sign in poor light.
Is the phone number I type here sent to Qravio?
No. The code is built entirely in your browser, so the number never leaves your device and we never store it. That also means there is nothing for us to count: a phone QR made here reports no scans, not on this page and not in an account, because a scan goes straight from the camera to the dialer without ever reaching us.
Why does the generator refuse spaces, hyphens, and brackets in the number?
A tel: link only accepts digits with an optional leading plus, so 98765 43210 and (98) 765-43210 are not valid. We reject them rather than quietly stripping the characters, because silent cleanup can hide a genuine typo, and a phone QR is printed and cannot be edited afterwards. Type the number as +919876543210 and it will pass.
Is it free, and does the code expire or stop working?
It is free with no account, no watermark, no expiry, and no scan limit, and you may use it commercially. The code keeps working as long as the number does, since it needs no internet and no server. The flip side of that permanence is that it can never be edited or tracked, so if you want a copy on file for reprinting later, use Save to account after downloading.
