How to make a Location QR code

What does the generated location QR code actually contain?
One maps URL. The generator turns your address — or your coordinates, if you entered them — into a standard maps link and encodes that link into the pattern, so scanning it opens the maps app directly with no page in between and nothing of ours in the middle. Because the URL is baked into the pixels, the code keeps working forever and needs no server on our side, and that same permanence is why it can never be edited or counted.
Is the address I type into this tool sent to Qravio?
No. The code is drawn entirely in your browser, so the place name, address, and coordinates never leave your device and we never store them. That also means there is nothing here for us to count: a code made on this page reports no scans, because the scan goes straight from the camera to the maps app without ever reaching us.
How do I make sure the pin is right before a print run?
Open the maps link on the kind of phone your customers carry and look at where the pin actually lands, not just at the name the app shows above it. If it is off, stop relying on the address text: press and hold the exact spot in Google Maps, copy the coordinates, paste them in, and check again. Five minutes here is worth it, because a static code cannot be corrected and a pin one lane out means reprinting everything that carries it.
The map is showing the wrong place — is that a bug in the generator?
Usually not. With address text alone the maps app runs a search and chooses its own best match, and we neither influence that choice nor hold any map data of our own to correct. The fix on your side is to stop making it guess: use latitude and longitude for the exact spot. If the map provider’s own data for your building or road is wrong, that has to be reported to the provider, since a QR code can only point at their map, not change it.
Can I change the address later on a code made with this tool?
No. The maps link sits inside the pattern, so a new address means a new code and a reprint of anything carrying the old one. If the place might move — a rented shop, a site office, a stall, a pop-up counter — create a dynamic location QR with a free account instead. The address then lives in your dashboard, stays editable at any time, and every scan is recorded.
What file format should I use, and can I print it commercially?
